About PitchSide

PitchSide is a free cricket scoring app built for the way local cricket is really played — on grounds where the internet is patchy, where nobody wants to sign up for an account, and where the scorer just wants to get on with the match.

Our one idea: scoring a cricket match should be as simple as picking up a phone. No login, no download from an app store, and it keeps working even when the signal doesn’t.

What it does

PitchSide lets you score a match ball by ball from your phone: runs, wides, no-balls, byes, free hits, wickets, and everything in between. It keeps a full scorecard with strike rates, run rate, economy, fall of wickets, partnerships and maidens. You can set up squads with roles and a playing XI, run the toss, and pick a Man of the Match. When the game’s done, you share a clean, branded scorecard image straight to WhatsApp or your Stories.

Who it’s for

Weekend players, club captains, gully cricketers, academy coaches, and tournament organisers — anywhere cricket is played. PitchSide is designed to be a universal scorer, useful from a backyard match to a local league, in India and across the cricket-playing world.

Who makes it

PitchSide is built by ProSoftwareTools, an independent software maker focused on practical, no-nonsense tools. We’re cricket lovers building the scorer we wanted to use ourselves.

Free, with optional extras

The core scorer is free and will stay free. In future we may offer optional Pro features and show ads to keep the free version running — but scoring your match will always work without paying.
